Rich Rodriguez, Lloyd Carr, Morgan Trent spar on book passage
Former Michigan defensive back Morgan Trent stands by the controversial content of a book in which he was a participant, but he and former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr said the characterization of a meeting between the two was not properly represented.
In the book "Draft Season: Four Months on the Clock," which was published in February, author Bobby Deren followed Trent and three other NFL draft prospects. Trent was drafted in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft and signed a four-year, $1.86 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals.
