RF Connect Reports 2011 Growth -- New Offices, Staff, Customers
FARMINGTON HILLS -- The wireless systems and services provider RF Connect last week reported "significant" revenue growth in 2011, along with the opening of new offices in Arizona, California and Texas, the hiring of "several" new engineers and other specialists and new customers.
"We opened new offices in Phoenix, Houston and Los Angeles, and added staff to support opportunities in the southwest and west," said Jeff Hipchen, Vice President.
New clients included firms in various target vertical markets including health care, education, automotive, insurance and transportation.
Some of them are:
* Trinity Health System, a seven-state healthcare organization with 8,000 physicians and 47,000 full time equivalent employees. Systems were installed in Ann Arbor and deployment has started in Livonia.
* Five premier hotels in support of the Super Bowl in Indianapolis.
* The largest hotel in San Antonio, Texas, the Grand Hyatt hotel, for AT&T.
* The Toyota Center Arena, home of the Houston Rockets in Houston, Texas.
* Soin Medical Center, the newly constructed Kettering Health hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
* A 4G LTE upgrade for the Indianapolis Airport in Indianapolis, Ind.
RF Connect installs wireless booster systems in buildings and on campuses. It also provides asset tracking and business continuity products and services.
RF's principals are seasoned wireless industry experts who founded and ran Clover Technologies and Digital Data Solutions and have backgrounds at other advanced technology business' including American Motors, Xenaga, Yahoo Enterprise Services and Commerce One.
RF Connect's customers include Johnson & Johnson, Verizon, AT&T, DTE Energy, T Mobile, Sprint, GE, Hewlett Packard, Trinity Health, Eaton Corp. and a number of other organizations in education, healthcare, manufacturing and transportation.
