Reward Offered For Tips In Inkster Teen's Murder
INKSTER (WWJ) - An Inkster family is asking the public for help in solving the mysterious murder of their loved one.
Michael Ibura, 18, was found shot to death in Inkster's Westwood Park in the early afternoon of Wednesday, August 1.
Michael's mom, Keithia McGill–Ibura, said her son had no enemies. "... (He) was always a joy to his family and to friends. A young man full of love and so much promise."
She described her son as a little man with a big heart.
"He would spend hours on hours trying to build his muscles. He would exercise and then ask me, 'Do you see a difference mom? My muscles are really coming out.' His personality was always big even though he was very small in stature."
Michael was driving a 1997 maroon Chevy Malibu that day.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of Michael's killer. Anonymous tips can be called in to the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-SPEAK UP. You can also text your tip to CRIMES (274637).
