Reward Offered For Tips In Delivery Driver Shooting
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect in the armed robbery and shooting of a delivery truck driver last week.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan and the Great Lakes Wine Company are offering an $11,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
The 39-year-old delivery driver was shot as he was making a delivery on West 8 Mile Road when a man entered his truck demanding money and they struggled before the suspect shot the delivery driver, critically injuring him.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 25 years old.
Anyone who thinks they can identify the man in these still images, please call the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (313) 596-1340 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. As always, tipsters may remain anonymous and still collect the reward.
