Reward Increases For Info. Leading To Jasmine Lyght

DETROIT (WWJ) - The reward has been increased in the case of 21-year-old Jasmine Lyght, a Detroit woman who has been missing for two months.

Jasmine's mother Sandra talked with WWJ's Vickie Thomas about the search for her daughter.

"There's a $1,000 reward through crime stoppers and my daughter's job donated another $4,000, so now its up to $5,000," Sandra said.

Jasmine went missing in February of this year. Her mother hopes a higher reward will help solve the mystery of his daughter's disappearance.

"Is there somebody holding her? Or is she... you know, I just don't know. On top of that, the day she came up missing was my birthday, 2-15 is my birthday. She had called me the night before and said 'Ma I'm going to bring your birthday gift over there,' and she's never missed my birthday. Never," Sandra said.

Jasmine was last seen in the area of Grand River Avenue and Plymouth Road in Detroit. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing pajama shorts over tights, a grey hoodie and black fur boots.
