Retail Velocity Data Streaming Service Certified With SAP
ANN ARBOR (WWJ) -- The Ann Arbor retail sales analysis technology provider Retail Velocity said Friday that its Velocity data streaming service has achieved certified integration with the SAP Demand Signal Management application.
The Velocity service provides real-time visibility into retail performance, down to the retail store level by SKU (individual items sold) and daily or weekly, for manufacturers running the SAP demand signal management software.
The SAP Integration and Certification Center has certified that Velocity Data Streaming Service 1.0 integrates with SAP Demand Signal Management 1.0, which runs on SAP HANA, by providing critical electronic point-of-sale data and inventory data at the store level.
Since 1994, Retail Velocity has been providing retailer-specific, out-of-the-box adaptors and harmonization algorithms based on its Velocity Demand Signal Repository technology. The technology enables consumer products manufacturers to closely monitor and manage their product flow, from production through consumer purchase. Through the adapters that it provides, Retail Velocity has the capabilities to distribute data feeds to SAP Demand Signal Management that deliver cleansed and harmonized "big data" down to the store and SKU level daily from over 300 retailers and distributors around the globe.
