Reports Of Arrest In Death Of Detroit Antiques Dealer
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are still not confirming whether an arrest has been made in this week's murder of an antiques dealer.
The 65-year old Nathan Feingold was killed Tuesday after someone entered his store, along Michigan Avenue west of Livernois, and attacked him with a baseball bat.
TV station WXYZ is reporting the man in custody was trying to sell electronics in a Detroit neighborhood Thursday night when police were tipped off about his alleged connection to the case.
The victim's wife, Janis Feingold, told the Detroit Free Press that rumors of an arrest bring "a little consolation" as the family prepares for services set for 11:30 a.m. Friday at Ira Kaufman Chapel in Southfield. She said an arrest won't bring her husband back.
Feingold had been an antiques dealer for over 25 years.
