Reported Shooting Near Highland Park School
HIGHLAND PARK (WWJ) - A lockdown has been lifted at Highland Park Renaissance Academy following reports of a shooting near campus.
A witness talking to WWJ Newsradio 950 said they spotted police cars at the school on Woodward and McNichols at around noon on Thursday.
Highland park police will not confirm or deny whether it was indeed a shooting that caused the lockdown. School officials also would not go into detail about the incident, but did say no one at the school was in danger.
