Report: Trey Burke Expected To Leave For NBA Draft
Cbssports.com has reported that freshman guard Trey Burke is expected to declare himself eligible for the 2012 NBA Draft.
It was reported last week that Burke was considering leaving for the NBA after only one season at Michigan. Burke averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds. Most experts say Burke is undersized for the NBA.
Burke follows in former Wolverine Darius Morris' footsteps, who left last year after only his sophomore season and was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2nd round of the 2011 NBA Draft.
There is no word on when an official announcement will be made.
