Search Continues For Escaped Prisoner
DETROIT (WWJ) - The Wayne County Sheriff's Department is still looking for an inmate who escaped from a transport van on Detroit's west side Thursday afternoon.
Kcajun Juromill Burton jumped out of the van near Lawton and Warren around 5:15 p.m. as jail personnel were putting another inmate into the vehicle.
Burton is described as a black male, medium complexion, 5'3" tall, 130 pounds, with light facial hair and mustache. He was wearing green pants, a white shirt and white socks.
Michigan State Police and their K-9 units were helping with the search.
