Players who were rumored for the Detroit Pistons in free agency are all of the table. DeMarre Carroll signed with the Raptors and Danny Green re-signed with the Spurs.
According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Pistons reached a verbal agreement with 6'10" center Aron Baynes — who played the last 3 season with the San Antonio Spurs — for a 3-year deal.
Stein is also reporting that the deal could be worth up to $20 million.
Over Baynes 3-year career he has averaged 4.8 ppg and 3.6 rpg. For the 2014-15 season Baynes averaged 16 mpg, 6.6 ppg and 4.5 rpg which were all career highs.
Baynes played his college basketball at Washington State.
