Michigan most likely will need a new coach at the end of the season.
Right now, Michigan sits with a 5-5 record with Maryland and Ohio State left on the schedule.
Most Michigan fans would prefer their next head coach to be the current head coach of the San Francisco 49ers Jim Harbaugh.
Despite Michigan potentially giving Harbaugh big-time money and complete control of the program, some believe he wouldn't take a step back to college from the NFL.
Larry Foote of the Arizona Cardinals, a former Wolverine, echoed that sentiment when he said to Mike Stone, "No, no you can't leave an NFL job, college will always be there so I don't see that happening, but they better change up their recruiting and get back to the hood."
A booster for the University of Michigan and the owner of the Miami Dolphins, Stephen Ross has spoken out about Harbaugh. And he has a different perspective.
The belief is the Dolphins might need a new coach at the end of the season -- and Harbaugh would be perfect for the job, right?
According to the NFL's Ian Rapoport, Ross would have more interest in Michigan hiring Harbaugh than coming to his own team the Miami Dolphins.
In September 2013, Ross reportedly gave the University of Michigan $200 million.
Now, that's a booster!
