He's known in Detroit by several names, including "worst draft pick ever," "the human victory cigar" and to others, known like Madonna by only his first name, Darko.

Darko Milicic hasn't played in the NBA for two seasons and now he's decided to call his career over at the ripe age of 29. You might be thinking "well, he sucked anyway."

Darko has chosen a new career, not anything like coaching youth basketball but the 7-footer is going to give a kick boxing a try.

According to nbaserbia.com "Darko Milicic put an end: Goodbye NBA career, good afternoon kick-boxing!" (Thanks to google translate and si.com for that.)

Milicic's first fight will be announced Wednesday. No word if he will be fighting former Lion Johnnie Morton, who also gave kick boxing a try back in the day.

Darko averaged 6 ppg and 4.2 rpg in his 10-year NBA career.
