Redford Twp. Tax Collection Could End Up Costly
REDFORD (WWJ)- Post a bond for tax collection or resign. Those are the options given to Redford Township Treasurer Lily Cavanagh. Township trustees have given her until March 15th to decide.
The Detroit Free Press reports, the decision on a 4-2 vote came after hours of heated debate among the board members Monday
The board also decided to ask the township attorney to prepare paperwork requesting intervention by Governor Snyder, and to seek a court decision in the matter if it is not resolved by the deadline.
