Red Wings Return To Detroit, Say They're Ready For Friday's Big Game

DETROIT (WWJ) The Red Wings winged their way back into metro Detroit after a heartbreaking loss to the Anaheim Ducks that put them on the brink of playoffs elimination.

But don't count them out yet, according to players and coach Mike Babcock, who took time at the airport to tell reporters they're ready to win game six Friday night.

"We've been through this before and, you know, it's first of four, it's not first of three, and we'll take care of business," Henrik Zetterberg said.

Zetterberg has struggled this series, going scoreless throughout, but coach Mike Babcock said it doesn't who fires up tonight -- as long as someone scores.

"I don't think we care if it's 'Z' or if it's Bob or Miller (who scores), it doesn't make any difference what guy whose name it is, we just have to have one more than them at the end of the night," the coach said.

He added: "You're either out or you keep on going, here's one of those moments for us -- Let's dig in."

Jimmy Howard said no one on the team is panicking about potential elimination.

"There should be no panic whatsoever in our room, we just have to keep that level of intensity up against them because you know they're going to want to come out and end it," Howard said.
