Python Swallows Barbecue Tongs [PHOTOS]

You might call it sick or gross but I have always enjoyed watching a snake eat.
Something about the way they just swallow their prey whole.
A python in Adelaide, Australia was rushed to the animal hospital when it ate the barbecue tongs that were used to feed the snake a rat according to CNN.com.
"There was a chance (he could have regurgitated the tongs) but they were too far in," Funnell said. "Even dragging them out could have been fatal."
The 25-minute surgery saw Funnell, aided by student veterinarians, remove the tongs from an incision near their widest part.
