Prince Fielder Shrugs Off World Series Loss: 'We Get To Play Tomorrow'
DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) The Tigers Prince Fielder got a hit in his first World Series game, but decided to focus on the team afterwards.
Fielder, calm and in good spirits as always, was asked if the loss to San Francisco would be hard to shake off.
"It's definitely not easy to shake off but fortunate enough we have a game tomorrow and we are only down 0-1 and it's best of seven," Fielder said. "It's not fun, but we get to play tomorrow."
A sportswriter pointed the Tigers have played well all season with their backs against the wall, and Fielder agreed that's when his team really roars.
"I think we have, I think we have no choice, all we can do is play hard, everybody is prepared, we did everything possible to get ready ... We'll get them tomorrow," he said.
