Power Outage Affecting Schools, Homes
SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - A power outage in the area of Orchard Lake and Maple roads in West Bloomfield is affecting about 900 homes and businesses.
The outage forced West Bloomfield Schools to close all of its buildings Wednesday morning. Click here for school closing information.
The problem is with a transformer.
A DTE Energy spokesman says power should be restored later in the morning.
