Power Goes Out At University Of Michigan
ANN ARBOR (AP) - Authorities say several buildings on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor lost power, stranding some people in elevators.
AnnArbor.com reports the outage happened Monday morning and was due to an electrical substation problem. Some buildings had power restored quickly and others were expected to have power back later in the day.
Campus police say some people were stuck in elevators due to the outage but they all had been removed by late Monday morning.
The cause of the outage was under investigation.
