Police: Small Child Left Alone For 2 Days
MORTON TOWNSHIP (AP) - Police say a woman left her 4-year-old son alone in Michigan for about two days to take care of himself.
The Grand Rapids Press reports police responded Wednesday in Mecosta County's Morton Township, about 45 miles northeast of Grand Rapids, and determined that the boy had been neglected.
Police contacted protective services workers and arrested the 41-year-old woman. Additional details weren't immediately released by police.
