Police: Slain Saginaw Woman's Car Found In Lansing
LANSING (WWJ/AP) - Police say a car belonging to a 23-year-old Saginaw woman who was found slain this month in her home has turned up in Lansing.
Police didn't say whether new clues in the death of Angelica Olivarez were in the vehicle, which investigators had been trying to find, The Saginaw News reported. They did say, however, that 24-year-old Michael Lawrence, who is sought for questioning in Olivarez's death, was spotted Friday in Lansing.
Police have wanted to talk with Lawrence, Olivarez's boyfriend, since her body was found on April 15. According to police, Olivarez's body was discovered after her 3-year-old son was found wandering the streets near their home. A cause of death hasn't yet been released.
Police are seeking public assistance in finding Lawrence and ask anyone who sees him to call 911. He is to be considered armed and very dangerous.
Lawrence is one of four men charged in the drive-by shooting of 6-year-old Layla Jones in Saginaw on Aug. 29. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information about Lawrence's whereabouts. Anyone with information is urged to call 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
