Police Seek Tips In Casino Worker Murder
Clinton Township Police are asking for the public's help in solving a three-year old murder mystery involving a local casino worker.
Police say 50-year old Richard Loury was shot twice as he walked up to an apartment building on Bayview Street near Hall Road back in August of 2007.
WWJ spoke Wednesday with police Captain Richard Mierly, who said investigators have hit a dead end.
"We've appealed to everybody -- everyone and anyone. Crimestoppers has done this before...Detectives have talked to hundreds of people...We've got tips, but nothing panned out," he said.
Police have ruled out a robbery and they say Loury had no criminal background.
A $3,500 cash reward is being offered in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call should call 1 (800) SPEAK UP.
