Police Seek Man Who Approached Kids At Farmington Hills Bus Stop

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - Police are looking to talk to a man who was looking to talk to some kids at a bus stop.
Farmington Hills Police Lt. Jeff King said the stranger — described as a white make, age 40 to 50 years old —was driving a black four-door sedan Monday morning when he approached two kids at a bus stop at Wessex and Lyford, in the area of 11 Mile Road and Middlebelt.
"He rolled down the window and asked the children if they were OK," said King. "According to the children it appeared that the individual began to reach down to open the car door. Upon seen that the kids ran back to their home."
Police said the driver then drove away, making no effort pursue them as they fled.
"There was no attempt, on behalf of the driver, to assault the children or make contact with the children or grab the children in any way," King added.
An investigation is ongoing.
