Police Seek Gas Station Robber
Detroit police are searching for an armed man they say stole thousands of dollars from a Citgo gas station on 8 Mile Road on the city's east side.
Officials said the suspect walked up to the a gas station employee who was leaving the station with bank drop bags filled with cash, and then robbed him at gunpoint.
The employee chased the suspect, who then turned around and fired shots.
The man was hit in the leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment. He is expected to be okay.
There were no arrests, as of Monday evening.
