Police Seek Driver In Deadly Hit And Run
Pontiac police are looking for a driver involved in a deadly hit and run accident on University Drive.
Police say a person driving past the accident saw a man standing by the victim saying someone jumped in front of him. But the person drove off in what is possibly a green Pontiac Grand Am.
The accident happened Monday evening near Moreland Street.
The victim was identified Tuesday by the Oakland County Medical Examiner's Office as 39-year old Mathew Christopher Howard of Pontiac. The medical examiner's office also found that Howard had a blood alcohol level of .34.
