Police Seek Clues To Identify Man Killed In Pedestrian Accident
TAYLOR (WWJ) - Taylor police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident along Eureka Road near I-75.
Police say a man in his 60s stepped from the median into the road around 6 a.m. and was hit by a vehicle driven by a 21-year old man from Brownstown Township.
Police suspect the victim is a homeless man - and described him as having scruffy facial hair and short hair. He was wearing black pants, a t-shirt, with a sport coat and black shoes.
He was carrying garbage bags.
The accident is still under investigation and it is not known if charges will be filed against the driver.
