4 Arrested, 2 At Large In Jewelry Store Robbery
Four people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at an Ann Arbor jewelry store , as police search for additional suspects.
WWJ spoke with Lt. Angela Abrams, who said three men walked into the Schlanderer and Sons jewelry store, on Main Street near I-94, and robbed the place at gunpoint.
Abrams said the store's owner was able to offer some help to investigators.
"One of the owners and, I believe, one of the employees, went in foot pursuit of these three subjects," she said. "Of course, they lost them, but they were able to give us a general direction of where they had traveled," Abram said.
Police continue to investigate. They were searching the area for two more suspects Wednesday afternoon.
An alert message sent by University of Michigan, earlier Wednesday, had asked students and faculty to stay inside.
