Police: Security Guard Guns Down Possible Thief
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit Police say a man in his 40's may have been trying to steal from a vacant apartment building when he was shot to death by a security guard.
Police said it happen Thursday morning at the building on Covington Street in the Palmer Park area.
According to some reports, the shooting victim may have been trying to steal copper from the building, which is under renovations.
The guard is being questioned by police.
No names have been released as the shooting remains under investigation.
