Police Searching For Suspects After Young Woman Attacked In Kroger Parking Lot
ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery in the parking lot of a Kroger store in Royal Oak Township.
Police say a 16-year-old young woman was attacked Wednesday about 7:15 p.m. as she approached her car after shopping at the Kroger store at 8 Mile and Wyoming roads.
Authorities say the suspect tried to assault the victim with a can of mace, but dropped the mace can when the victim fought back.
He then suspect punched the victim in the head, robbed her of her cellular telephone and fled on foot southbound into the city of Detroit.
Police are looking for two black men; one has a light skin complexion, thin build, about 5'5" - 5'9" tall, approximately 18 - 25 years old, last seen wearing a green MSU hat, a gray hooded MSU sweatshirt with green writing, and tan cargo pants.
The other young man has a medium to dark skin complexion, medium build, short black hair and clean shaven, approximately 14 -18 years old, approximately 5'4" – 5'6", last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt that has a stainless steel zipper up the front and white writing on the left side of the chest, light gray sweatpants with some kind of writing on the outside of the left leg, and dark shoes.
