Police Search For Woman Last Seen On New Year's Day

DEARBORN (WWJ) - A $1,000 reward is now being offered in the case of a missing 23-year-old woman.

Police in Dearborn are asking for the public's assistance in locating Dynasty Myles, who disappeared on the first day of the year.

Police said Myles, a Detroit resident, has been missing since approximately 10 p.m. on New Year's Day, where she was last seen near Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn. Her car was located in the parking lot of Benihana, a Japanese restaurant, but Myles was nowhere to be found.

Investigators say Myles left her young child with her parents and relatives are concerned because it's not her personality to be away for long periods of time without contacting them.

"We didn't think anything of it at first because she's young and we just thought she was just out. And then the second night, that's when it was like something's wrong. There's no contact. She hasn't called," Tara Paymon, Myles' stepmother, told WJBK.

Police are hoping someone who knows something about what happened to Myles will speak up.

"We hope that someone who has had contact with Dynasty since New Year's Day will contact us with information on her whereabouts," Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a statement.

Anyone with information on Myles' whereabouts is asked to contact the Dearborn Police at 313-943-3012 or Crime Stoppers ar 1-800-SPEAK-UP. You can also submit a tip online at www.1800speakup.org, or text "CSM" and your tip to CRIMES (274637).
