Police Search For Suspect In Theft From Elderly Couple
FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ)- Farmington Hills police are looking for a man who is accused of robbing an elderly couple after answering an ad for a handyman.
The couple, who are disabled and on a fixed income, posted an ad looking for a handyman to help with a repair in their home.
At some point while in the home, it is alleged that the man removed an ATM/credit card from the women's purse.
After leaving the home with a promise to return to do the job, the man purchased alcohol and cigarettes using the stolen card.
The suspect is white with gray hair, about 190 lbs, around 55-65 years-old and 190 lbs.
The theft occurred on May 25, 2011.
