Police Search For Shooting Suspects

PITTSFIELD TWP. (WWJ) - Police in Pittsfield Township are searching for two men in connection with a shooting.

Police want to talk with 35-year-old Ricardo Palmer and his 39-year-old brother, Lester Palmer, about a shooting that occurred around 11 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of Fieldcrest Lane.

A 45-year-old Pittsfield Township man was rushed to the hospital after suffering a non-fatal gunshot wound, and police believe the Palmer brothers are responsible.

"It started out as a domestic violence situation with the victim and a woman at the residence," Pittsfield Public Safety Director Matt Harshberger told AnnArbor.com.

Harshberger said the victim and suspects know each other, but did not elaborate on their relationship.

Ricardo Palmer is described as 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11 and 215+ pounds. Lester Palmer is described as 6-foot-2 and 250+ pounds. Police say both men frequent the Ypsilanti area and are encouraging residents to be on the lookout. Both men are considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the Palmers' whereabouts is asked to contact Pittsfield Township police at 734-822-4911.
