Police Search For Link In Northern Michigan Robberies
PELLSTON, Mich (WWJ/AP) - Are police looking for a serial bank robber?
Northern Michigan authorities say a man with a semiautomatic handgun in a bank robbery that netted him more than $100,000 probably was involved in two earlier bank robberies.
The latest stick up happened last Wednesday at a Citizen's National Bank branch in Pellston, about 70 miles northeast of Traverse City.
Police say the bad guy was a slender white man between 6-foot and 6-foot-3, and 20-30 years old.
Investigators believe the stick up is related to the robbery of banks in Manistee and in Lake County.
