Police Probe Fatal Shootings Of Pontiac Women
PONTIAC (WWJ/AP) - A 22-year-old man is being held in connection with the shooting deaths of two Pontiac women.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Department said deputies also are seeking a possible second suspect in the slayings of 58-year-old Luann Robinson and 52-year-old Loretta Fournier, both of Pontiac.
Officers found the women's bodies around 8:30 p.m. Friday night after receiving a request for a welfare check at the women's shared residence on Pingree Avenue.
Autopsies were expected Saturday.
The suspect, who is from Pontiac, was arrested early Saturday morning. Authorities say a motive for the slayings is unclear.
