Police: Motorcyclist Killed In High-Speed Crash
DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities say a man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a truck on Detroit's east side.
The accident happened Tuesday morning on Cadillac Boulevard near Goethe Street, just south of Mack Avenue.
According to police, the man was traveling southbound on Cadillac Boulevard "at a high rate of speed" when he lost control of his motorcycle while turning into a driveway and collided with a truck.
The man, whose name was not immediately released, was declared dead at the scene. The truck driver was uninjured.
An investigation is ongoing.
