Police: Man Shot To Death After Telling Driver To Slow Down

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for the drive-by shooter who killed a 23-year-old man on the city's west side.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Monday in the 13000 block of Braile, near W. Davison Avenue and I-96.

According to police, the victim was outside when a white truck drove past at a high rate of speed and he yelled at the driver to slow down.

A short time later, a red vehicle drove up to the victim and the driver began firing shots, police said.

The victim, whose name was not released, received a gunshot wound and died from his injuries.

The suspect is described only as a black male in his 30's.
