Police: Man Shot At Officer, His Wife

A man who Sterling Heights police say shot at his wife and than at an officer is in the hospital being treated for a gunshot wound.

According to officials, police responded to a domestic violence call on Marold Street near Mound Road when  the husband came out of the home and started shooting at his wife.

When the officer got out of his car, the suspect then allegedly started shooting at him as well.

Police returned fire and struck the suspect.

The suspect is expected to be okay. The wife and the officer were not injured.
