Police Involved In Shooting Outside Family Restaurant In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - A man is in critical condition after being shot by a Detroit police officer.
The incident happened Saturday at Mama's Family Restaurant on Eight Mile road when a man walked inside asking to speak to the owner of a parked car.
The car owner and the man went outside, and minutes later a customer noticed the suspect pointing a gun at the other person.
Two officers, who were in the restaurant at the time, rushed outside and say the suspect then pointed the gun at them, so police fired several shots at him.
Police have not released the identity of the man.
