Police Identify Victims of Double Murder-Suicide
WARREN (WWJ) - Warren Police say a Detroit man fatally shot his common-law wife, adult son and then shot himself Monday.
Reporting from the scene WWJ's Mike Campbell watched as police pulled a Ford pickup truck from a front yard where it had nearly wrapped around a tree.
It happened on Panama Street, just west of Mound Road and north of Toepfer Road.
Warren Police detectives say Eugene Fraser shot his 21-year-old son in their home, then picked up his wife, Donna Chance, from the home improvement store where she worked, and fatally shot her as he drove, then turned the gun on himself.
Warren Police Commissioner Jere Green says it appears that Fraser's pickup truck struck a tree after he shot himself.
Neighbor Andrew Hillier was among the first on the scene. 
"I ran down there. It's only next door, so I ran down there, opened up the door, seen if anybody was alert, conscious. I didn't see any movement. I seen lots of blood so I just waited for the proper people to show up," Hiller said.
Shari Kennedy, who lives down the street, said she saw the truck coming.
"I saw the white Ford pickup truck headed northbound on Panama. I heard a loud noise and then saw the vehicle lose control, hit one vehicle, spin around and hit the tree," Kennedy said.
Following the incident, another man, now identified the couple's son, was found dead inside a Detroit home.
No motive has been identified.
