Police Investigate Drive-By Shooting Near Detroit-Highland Park Border
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting near the Detroit-Highland Park border.
The incident happened around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of Woodward and Webb, near the Davison Freeway.
Detroit Police Sgt. Eren Stephens said two men, ages 33 and 21, were sitting in a parked vehicle when suspects in a white sedan drove past them and started shooting. The suspects then fled the scene.
Stephens said the 33-year-old received gunshot wounds and was rushed to the hospital where he was last listed in serious condition. She said the 21-year-old received a graze wound and refused medical treatment.
Police say the suspects remain at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.
