Police Investigate Deadly Shooting On Detroit's East Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - Homicide Investigators are trying to determine what led to the deadly shooting of a man on Detroit's east side.
Police say a man in his 40s was shot several times outside a home on Somerset, near I-94 and East Outer Drive, around 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators say after being shot, the man staggered across Outer Drive to the front porch of a home about a block away on Nottingham Street, where his body was recovered between two homes.
The victim has not been identified at this time as police continue to figure out why he was shot, and who pulled the trigger.
Sgt. Eren Stephens said no additional information is being released at this time.
