Police Investigate Bank Robberies
Police in Oakland County are looking for suspects involved in separate bank robberies.
Investigators are reviewing security video from the Chase Bank located on the 18000 block of W. 11 Mile Road. in Lathrup Village in hopes of finding a robber.
The suspect reached over the counter, grabbed a couple of night deposit bags from a teller, and ran.
It's unknown how much money was in the bags that were stolen Monday.
In Bloomfield Township, police are looking for a suspect who robbed the 5th-3rd Bank in the 3100 block of South Boulevard Monday afternoon.
The Oakland County Sheriff's helicopter was called in to help in the search, but the culprit got away.
