Police I.D. Victim, Seek Tips In Northern Macomb County Hit-And-Run
ARMADA TOWNSHIP (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say a 21-year-old man found dead in a ditch north of Detroit was the victim of a hit-and-run.
Michigan State Police said Monday the driver of a car that hit Jacob Brand in northern Macomb County's Armada Township "refused to stop." Brand's body was found Saturday morning in a ditch along Bordman Rd.
The Macomb County Medical Examiner identified Brand, who lived in St. Clair County's Kimball Township.
As the investigation continues, detectives are asking the public for help in finding the hit-and-run driver and vehicle, which reportedly fled the scene of the crass heading eastbound on Bordman.
