Police Chase Ends In Crash On Detroit's East Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - An apparent police chase has ended in a crash on Detroit's east side.
The situation unfolded early Tuesday morning near Kelly Road and Houston Whittier Street.
"As a result of this crash, a light pole was knocked down on Whittier right between Kelly and Hayes. There's a lot of damage to the vehicle, the front end and the roof, and a lot of police cruisers are around this crashed vehicle," WWJ's Lance Howard reported from above the scene in Chopper 950.
It wasn't immediately clear what prompted the police chase, or if anyone was injured.
