Police Catch Woman Who Crashed Into Pontiac Business

PONTIAC (WWJ) - Police have caught the woman they say crashed into a Pontiac business and then fled the scene.

It all happened at Moshita Fashions on Telegraph Saturday afternoon, when the SUV jumped the curb and crashed through a plate glass window of the business. Police say the 57-year-old Pontiac woman responsible told them she left the scene because of two outstanding warrants.

She was ticketed for leaving the scene of an accident, and driving while license suspended.

No injuries were reported.
