Police: Body Found In Detroit Is Likely Missing Mother

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police believe the body of a young woman found in a house on the west side is that of a 23-year-old who has been missing since New Year's Day.

WWJ's Ron Dewey reports the case of Dynasty Myles is now being treated as a homicide.

Myles was last seen at the Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn on New Year's Day, after leaving her young daughter with her parents in Southfield.

Her body was discovered by city workers late Tuesday morning at an abandoned home on Log Cabin near the Lodge Freeway in Detroit.

Evidence collected at the scene by police suggest Myles was dragged into the home against her will, but officials are not saying how long her body had been there.

An exact cause of death has yet to be determined, but police are treating the case as a homicide.

Anyone with information about Myles' disappearance is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. You can also submit a tip online at www.1800speakup.org, or text "CSM" and your tip to CRIMES (274637).
