Police: Aunt Slaps Girl, Sister Pulls Gun During Family Melee
(CBS Detroit) Oakland County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched at 10 p.m. Wednesday to the 4400 block of Wildwood Loop in Brandon Township for a complaint involving a woman who allegedly threatened her sister with a gun, and another who said her aunt slapped her in the melee.
Deputies discovered several family members were over at their father/grandfather's home when a verbal and physical fight erupted.
In the heat of the argument, a 36-year-old Brandon Township woman allegedly grabbed a gun, then "displayed and threatened her sister" with it.
One of the grandchildren contacted her father to say an aunt had slapped her. The father drove in from Pontiac, and police said he was "combative and aggressive" toward them. He was charged with disorderly person and released with an appearance ticket.
The woman who allegedly brandished a gun was arrested and charged with folonious assault.
