Plex Systems Sponsors Road Signs at Woodward Dream Cruise
AUBURN HILLS -- Plex Systems Inc., provider of Plex Online cloud ERP for manufacturers, announced its sponsorship at the 2012 Woodward Dream Cruise event on Saturday, Aug. 18, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world's largest one-day celebration of classic car culture and attracts more than one million visitors, and approximately 50,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles. A gold-level sponsor of the event, Plex Systems is sponsoring the road signs that will guide cruisers down the 16-mile stretch of legendary Woodward Avenue, America's first highway.
At the Plex Systems tent, visitors will be encouraged to stop by and make a $5 donation to play Plex Plinko for the chance to win a number of prizes. The donations will be presented to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan, Plex Systems' charity partner for 2012. Every year, Plex Systems' employees select one or two nonprofits to support and contribute funds to support their mission. This year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan will use the money raised by Plex Systems to fulfill children's wishes in Michigan.
"We're proud to support the Woodward Dream Cruise, a true hallmark of summertime in Metro Detroit," said Plex Systems Vice President of Products and Marketing Patrick Fetterman. "We are excited to cheer for our favorite Motor City vehicles and also support Make-A-Wish foundation through our Plex Giving activities."
"We pride ourselves on providing a safe, family-friendly Dream Cruise, and road signs help keep the more than 40,000 vintage vehicles and non-cruisers all traveling carefully along the Cruise route," said Woodward Dream Cruise Executive Director Tony Michaels. "We're grateful for Plex Systems' support of this can't-miss summer tradition."
