Plans Call For New U-M Biology Building
ANN ARBOR (AP) - Plans are in the works for a new biology building at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
The Ann Arbor News reports the school plans to bring the project before the Board of Regents sometime this year for consideration.
Details including possible cost and location weren't immediately released.
Hank Baier, associate vice president for facilities and operations, says the new building will include a Museum of Natural History exhibit that is currently housed in the Ruthven Exhibit Building.
Baier has said "it will be a big project" that will "evolve this fall." The plans could come before regents as early as the Oct. 18 meeting.
