Pistons Report: Notes, Quotes

--The Pistons allowed San Antonio to shoot 64.3 percent (45-for-70) Wednesday, their worst defensive outing this season. Toronto's 62.9 percent shooting on Dec. 11 was the previous season high by an opponent. For the season, the Pistons are allowing opponents to shoot a league-high 48.3 percent from the field.

--Head coach John Kuester has tinkered with the lineup so much he has used 16 different combinations. Only one of those combinations has started more than nine games -- the grouping of Rodney Stuckey, Richard Hamilton, Ben Wallace, Jason Maxiell and Tayshaun Prince has been used 13 times and delivered a 4-9 record. The highest win total among any starting combination is five -- the unit of Stuckey, Tracy McGrady, Greg Monroe, Chris Wilcox and Prince has a 5-4 record.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"That guy can still play competitive and be a good player. To see him still out there on the floor, I'm happy for him." -- San Antonio forward and ex-Piston Antonio McDyess on Pistons guard Richard Hamilton, who scored 20 points against the Spurs.
